Japanese Garden
For several years I had a typical modern semi type garden. Poor clay soil, the odd shrub and potted plant. I had a idea to create a garden that was simple to maintain, used the limited space to it's fully potential and yet was pleasing to the eye. This remained just an idea until I contacted Contrast Gardens, Rob Witt was very helpful in making the idea become a reality. He suggested what might be best was a Japanese style garden. After discussion and careful planning on his part, he showed me a sketch of what he intended to do. Well what can I say but excellent, Rob has an excellent eye for detail and a flair for creativity. He is also very careful to clean up at the end of the day. My garden is totally different now. It is so nice and relaxing to sit and listen to the water trickle over the slate water feature. The birds like bathing in it as well! My garden is a real pleasure and is very easy to maintain. I would definitely recommend Contrast Gardens to anyone.

Decking in Nottingham
My backgarden was in a dreadful state and on a slope so there was very little i could do. I spoke to Rob through a friend and asked him to pop over and see if he had any ideas. We discussed best way forward and he suggested decking. I left the whole thing to him and he organised it to have steps and he also redid all the fences adding a new gate at the bottom. Me and my boyfriend absolutely love it and spent the whole summer out there!! Can't wait till the weather improves so we can get back out there and start getting plants set up. Its gone from a dingy useless back yard to a beautiful garden space. Would definately recommend on quality and price
